The Department of Surgical Disciplines is organizing the “Fourth AIIMS Surgical Week",
International Conference, CME cum Live Workshop (ENDOSURG 2010) from 26th March
2010 to 28th March 2010 at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi.

AIIMS Surgical Week is an annual event and many postgraduate students and practicing
surgeons look towards the AIIMS Surgical week as an important event in their quest for
excellence in surgery. The main objective of AIIMS Surgical week is bringing the expertise
of the experts-national and international for the practicing surgeons as well as
postgraduate students.

The focus this year is on Laparoscopic Surgery, Bariatric Surgery and breast & endocrine
diseases. Some interesting and rare cases will be shown. Many procedures have been
shown live for the first time during the course of AIIMS Surgical Week in the past.

Live tele-video conferencing from 'Centres of Excellence' across the globe is another
unique feature of AIIMS Surgical Week. Advanced laparoscopic procedures are
demonstrated by experts from their own centres with excellent audio-video transmission.
Two way communication and participation of delegates is ensured during these Live
Video-conferencing sessions. Internationally renowned faculty from Germany, France,
UAE, United Kingdom and United States of America has been invited to participate during
the conference and workshop.
